Many of these shipments\ncarry the necessities of our daily lives. The neighboring countries of\nSingapore are hotbeds of raw material suppliers, assembly factories as well as\nend users. Singapore will strengthen its position as a \u201cGlobal Distribution\nCenter\u201d in\nAsia and will need a high capacity, high performance, agile and green container\nport in the next generation. The revolutionary concept needs to satisfy high\ncapacity in a limited space. Vertical storage, increasing operational\nefficiency and shortening container stay are key strategies in our proposal.\nObviously, the current berth would not be able to handle the container\ncapacity. We need to increase the berths as well as increase the mobility of\noperations. Besides upgrading the Cargo Management Strategies, our team also\ntook Environmental Responsibility into consideration.
